Fans of Harry Potter, prepare broomsticks and wands: we come back to the Wizarding World! The fantastic universe created by J. K. Rowling never ceases to stimulate fans, creatives and filmmakers from all over the world who continue to revisit, reshape, adapt and take inspiration from one of the most famous sagas of all time. A few days ago it was broadcast the first episode of the web series Hermione Granger and the Quarter Life Crisis: a fan web series about post-Hogwarts life of the young witch.
It is an unofficial series (since neither Rowling nor Warner Bros. are involved in its production) created by a crew of creative people who are firstly huge fans of the wizard and who have a particular interest in the Hermione’s character, which is why they decided to create a web series about her. In the series, consisting of 10 episodes, Hermione is 25 years old, she wants to leave Ron Weasley and the United Kingdom and she has take on a series of challenges that will take her to understand who she wants to be and what she wants. The creators, among which there is the American director Eliyannah Amirah Yisrael, have also launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com asking the public, and especially Harry Potter’s fans, to finance the project, which is presented as a spin-off of Harry Potter: in fact positions itself between the final battle of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and its epilogue and also it is inspired by the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
