It is an unofficial series (since neither Rowling nor Warner Bros. are involved in its production) created by a crew of creative people who are firstly huge fans of the wizard and who have a particular interest in the Hermione’s character, which is why they decided to create a web series about her. In the series, consisting of 10 episodes, Hermione is 25 years old, she wants to leave Ron Weasley and the United Kingdom and she has take on a series of challenges that will take her to understand who she wants to be and what she wants. The creators, among which there is the American director Eliyannah Amirah Yisrael, have also launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com asking the public, and especially Harry Potter’s fans, to finance the project, which is presented as a spin-off of Harry Potter: in fact positions itself between the final battle of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and its epilogue and also it is inspired by the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
